Is it just us, or did September disappear in the blink of an eye?
It was a busy month at Style Boutique, filled with gorgeous autumn colours, exciting new arrivals, a very special birthday and even a little trip across the Atlantic. So, before we dive headfirst into October, let’s have a quick catch-up…
The colours of the season 🎨
September was all about berry, chocolate and olive—three rich, wearable shades that instantly make a wardrobe feel ready for autumn.
Berry brought the colour, chocolate gave us that luxurious tonal look, and olive proved once again that it is practically a neutral. Better still, all three shades work beautifully together.
If you’re looking for easy Autumn/Winter fashion, cosy layers or a simple way to update your wardrobe, adding just one of these colours is a lovely place to start.

The boss turned 40! 🎂
September also brought a rather important Style Boutique birthday…
Daniel—our boss and Kate’s son—turned the big 4-0!
Naturally, we marked the occasion with plenty of celebrations, cake and gentle reminders that forty is really only twenty… twice.
Happy birthday, Daniel! We hope the next decade brings lots of happiness, success and perhaps a little more patience with the rest of us. 😉
As if turning 40 wasn’t memorable enough, Daniel also bumped into the one and only Philomena Begley while out celebrating! Nothing says a proper Tyrone birthday quite like meeting the Queen of Country herself. We’re not sure who was more star-struck—but it certainly gave Daniel another story to tell from his big night!
The blouse is officially back!
There are blouses…and then there are Vilagallo blouses.

Alice takes New York 🗽
Alice swapped Tyrone for New York in September as she headed across the Atlantic for a wedding.
The wedding was absolutely amazing, the trip was wonderful and New York was every bit as exciting as expected. There was plenty of celebrating, sightseeing and, we suspect, a little outfit watching too! Although Alice insists that counts as research!
And, of course, Alice dressed for the occasion! She wore a gorgeous white dress with black polka dots from The 8th Sign—a timeless, head-turning style that proved to be a real crowd-pleaser. Chic, playful and perfect for a New York wedding… although we expected nothing less from her!
She returned home with lots of lovely memories and thankfully avoided trying to fit the entire contents of Fifth Avenue into her suitcase.
