July at Style Boutique – Sunshine, Style & a Splash of Sass!
Ah, July – you gorgeous, golden goddess of a month! There’s something about July that makes everything feel a little more sparkly, don’t you think? The days stretch out luxuriously long, the events calendar is packed with glitzy goings-on, and let’s be honest – we’re all just a little bit friendlier with some sunshine on our shoulders and Aperol in our hands.
Roald Dahl once said, “If I had my way, I’d remove January from the calendar altogether and have an extra July instead.” And frankly, we’d like to nominate him for Prime Minister based on that quote alone.
Here at Style Boutique, July is always one of our favourite months. It’s not just the bright evenings or the flurry of fashion – it’s the energy you bring through our doors that makes it feel like a party every day. Whether you’re popping in for a style refresh, dropping by for a chat, or just window-shopping with a coffee in hand, you light up the place like a sequinned jumpsuit at a garden party.
Store Closure for the Bank Holiday
This year, the 12th of July falls on a Saturday, and we’ve decided to close both Style Boutique and Stitch ‘n’ Style for the day to give our wonderful team the chance to celebrate however they choose. We were back open and in the swing of things on Monday so we were only closed for the weekend and back to Style Madness pronto!

Let’s talk about that reel. You know the one. The one where Kate strutted out in that jaw-dropping headpiece and the internet collectively gasped? Yep, that one. With over 800 likes (and counting), it’s safe to say it made waves.
Now, we know not everyone was a fan (we saw the “bold choice” comments – cheeky!) but honestly, that’s the beauty of fashion, isn’t it? It’s meant to stir things up, spark conversation, and sometimes leave people wondering, “Can I pull that off?” (Spoiler: You absolutely can.)

Confession time: we live for a good sale. And judging by how fast the rails cleared this month, so do you. Our 40% Summer Sale kicked off in July and it’s been a frenzy of fabulous finds.
There’s something borderline euphoric about discovering that perfect piece – the one that fits like a dream and also happens to be discounted. Honestly, it should be a recognised form of self-care.

We love a celebration at Style Boutique – and birthdays are our excuse to pull out all the stops. This month we were thrilled to celebrate our very own Kayla’s big day. If you’ve ever rung up the boutique and been greeted by a cheerful voice that somehow makes you feel ten times more stylish just by saying “hello” – that’s probably Kayla.
There were balloons. There was cake (triple-layered, no less). There were impromptu dance moves that shall remain untagged on Instagram (for now). But most importantly, there was laughter, joy, and that lovely reminder that Style Boutique isn’t just about clothes – it’s about people.
We’re so lucky to have a team that feels like family, and we hope you feel that too every time you pop in. Happy Birthday, Kayla – keep being fabulous.

With mixed emotions, we share the news that our beloved Megan is leaving Style Boutique as she embarks on an exciting new chapter in her career. While we are absolutely thrilled for her and this wonderful opportunity, her departure leaves a big space in our hearts—and our team. Megan has been a shining light at the boutique, known for her warmth, creativity, and unwavering dedication to our customers. She will be hugely missed by all of us, but we know she’ll go on to do amazing things. Please join us in wishing Megan every success and happiness in her new adventure!
