October Occasions - Weddings Are A Go!

Wedding season is well and truly underway & we are SO excited to share some of our occasion wear with you lovely ladies!

Often weddings occur throughout the year with Spring/Summer being the most popular time for weddings. We usually called those months "wedding season". We could even find ourselves in the summer months having two in the one weekend, and let's just say that is stressful for us women!  

2021 has not been the most normal time for any of us and the wedding season style for this year has changed all because of the dreaded C word.

The start of 2021 had been very uncertain with lockdown and restrictions, so with that in mind, many bride and grooms opted for later in the year and went for Autumn/Winter weddings. Now as we all know with Covid, nothing's very certain but taking the chance on more people been vaccinated and restrictions lifting every couple of months, this probably wasn't a bad bet. 

The ripple effect of this, means that guests are inundated with weddings. Speaking of weddings, I had three weddings in October, two being in the one weekend. There wasn't a lot of house work done on the Sunday after those weddings let me tell you that!

Occasions are back this October and back with a bang!

I don't know about you but I certainly love a good wedding. It's a chance to get your glam on and spend time with family and close friends. In the past we would have complained about having too many weddings but if the last two years have taught us anything it's that family and friend's events should not be taken for granted.

We are SUPER excited to open our boxes for our stunning new occasion wear, as last year let's be real - we didn't go anywhere exciting bar the living room!
