Summer in Ireland and the UK can be a difficult one to style, mainly because we need to make sure everything goes with a raincoat and umbrella! Life is getting busier every day and cool, stylish, easy to create looks are all the rage.

Gone are the days where it was all about the highest heel we could barley walk in…comfort is on-trend now and items need to be versatile. We don’t want to buy one outfit that is only going to work for us on one occasion; we want that one outfit to tick many boxes. Now don’t get me wrong…when you’re hitting the town on a Saturday night it’s hard to beat a high heel but it really is all about a trendy trainer these days! A few years ago, if you were seen in a trainer it was obviously for some athletic reason but these days it’s working for so many looks.

They are a more unconventional style for the summer but a style that will keep you…as the young kids say, ‘with it’ all season. For me, being a mummy to a one year old and working in a clothes boutique it can sometimes be hard to look stylish first thing in the morning. However I know with the wrap dress there is limited thinking involved and I can wear it with ease and comfort. Plus you’d never know…it might even be the look to take me out on a Friday evening for some vino when I get the chance. As they say, always be prepared and with this style I will be!
