In memory of Charlie Mc Donnell

February is a difficult month for everyone at Style Boutique. The 2nd of February marks one year since we lost our beloved Charlie. 2021 felt at once like the slowest year ever and at the same time like it went by in the blink of an eye. It’s impossible to say where the time has gone, but we got through it. It always helps to remember that Charlie lived his life to the fullest. He never skipped the chance to take a trip to the coffee shop or to enjoy a good bottle of wine, which he loved to share with his family and friends. 

Charlie Mc Donnell, 4 November 1948 to 2 February 2021. Missed every day.

We know Charlie would want us all to keep living our lives to the fullest, too, so we’re keeping our hearts open and are looking forward to the love and sweet surprises this month will bring!

Kate's Holiday to Lanzarote

A few years ago, Kate and Charlie enjoyed a memorable holiday at the VIL Hotel San Antoni in Lanzarote. At the beginning of January, a thought popped into Kate’s head: why not go back and relive old memories and make some new ones at the same time? So, she took a well-deserved break to spend a few days in Lanzarote with her close friend Mina. Not surprisingly, the pair soon became the hotel’s top style icons! They had a brilliant time, and Kate is so happy she’s taken this huge step for herself.

Say Hello to Our Spring/Summer New Arrivals

Our new stock usually starts to arrive in December, but we’ve faced many delays this year. We’ve found that, due to the pandemic and Brexit changes, new arrivals are taking much longer to make it to us. On the upside, now that Christmas has been and gone, deliveries are coming in thick and fast. So keep an eye on our social media pages and website to get a peek at the new season’s trends!

Daniel is Back Behind the Camera

With new arrivals coming through the door every day, Daniel is back behind the camera. He had a short break over Christmas, but it won't take him too long to get back into the swing of things (hopefully)! We’re looking forward to seeing the brilliant photos he takes off the newly arrived styles.

Our Office Girls Are on the January Health Kick

The girls in the Style Boutique office get a bad reputation for bringing too many treats into work. But let's not lie, we all love to take a peek into their Black Box of goodies and pick something sweet to brighten up the day. This year, the girls have decided to get involved in the January health kick and have promised not to bring in any more sweet treats. We’re a month in and are proud to say they’ve been sticking to their word! The most exciting thing in the Black Box at the moment is rich tea biscuits (which we’ll let them have — who doesn’t love a rich tea biscuit!?).
