At Style, this month is all about two of our favourite things — holidays and
weddings. 

The big news is that summer is finally here. But with all the rain and grey skies we’ve been having, you’d hardly know. We hope the weather gets the memo soon! Kate and Alice were taking no chances and jetted off to warmer climates this month. Luckily, travelling is nearly back to normal, which we are all so grateful for.

Here’s what’s been going on…

Kate in Lanzarote

Kate is a massive fan of the VIK Hotel San Antoni in Lanzarote. This 4-star hotel is one that Charlie and Kate loved to holiday at together. Kate took a trip to Lanzarote at the start of January with her close friend Mina and decided to book another stay last month. She had a ball, enjoyed the sunshine and took the time to relax.

Alice in Tenerife

Not one to miss out on holiday fun, Alice jetted off to Tenerife with her husband Tiernan. They stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife. Kate and Tiernan have had a busy year with work, family and events and were excited to take a well-deserved break. The phones were put away, and it was time to recharge the batteries. They loved their time away together but were just as happy to get back home to see Miss Grace and Lucie.

Mc Donnell Family Wedding

The family got together to celebrate the wedding of a close family member on a beautiful sunny day. This was our first family wedding since Charlie died, and we also lost Fran, the bride’s father and Charlie’s brother, in 2020. We knew this would be a hard day as two of the main men were missing, but we made the most of it. Rachel was a beautiful bride, and it was a fabulous day. We wish the new Mr and Mrs Aloon all the best in the world. 

Susan Jackson Competition Winner

We were so pleased to get a lovely email from Carol Mulligan, the winner of the Susan Jackson competition. This email made our day and is why we love running competitions.... "Just to let you know I received my Robell white shorts and cropped trousers from you this afternoon. Thank you so much I am delighted with them and they fit perfectly. The best prize I ever won and I don't normally win anything. I hope to order some more pieces from you in the future as I am sick of going from shop to shop and the sizing can be off the wall in
some stores. Thanks again really appreciate all you have done. Carol"
